I’m Safe: Skyddsrum — Support

Last updated: 14 October 2026

I’m Safe: Skyddsrum is an iPhone app that shows the nearest public shelters in Sweden. In the English App Store it is called “I’m Safe: Air Raid Shelters”, and on your home screen “Skyddsrum”.

The app shows the nearest shelters with distance, walking time and direction. All data is in the app, so it works without a network connection. It shows several alternatives, because nobody knows how full a shelter is.

Questions and problems

Found a problem, or is a shelter missing? Write to emil@im-safe.se, in English or Swedish. Email is the only way to reach us.

Information about an individual shelter, for example whether it is closed or has the wrong address, is corrected by the Swedish Civil Defence and Resilience Agency (MCF) or the municipality.

Report security vulnerabilities to the same address. Our security page says what to include and what happens next.

Data

Source: Swedish Civil Defence and Resilience Agency (MCF). The list of temporarily closed shelters is updated every night from MCF’s open service.

I’m Safe: Skyddsrum is not an app from MCF.

Privacy and terms

The app collects nothing and never sends your location anywhere. If you tap Directions, Apple Maps opens and uses your location to work out the walking route. Read our privacy policy and our terms of use.
